September 20, 2013 - Youth Conference

Dear Max,

Daddy and I are so blessed to work with the youth in the ward.  I love being with the youth so very much and I love that they all love you and are such great examples for you.  This past weekend we had the opportunity to attend youth conference.  It was an awesome experience and so much fun being with the youth of our ward! It was a MASH theme, so the first night the kids went through rotations that were like being at Boot Camp, and for dinner had MRE's.

Dear Max,

They say a picture is worth a thousand words, but only one comes to mind when I see this one...STUD!  You are so awesome, we were getting ready to leave the house to run to the store, and I asked you to run and get your flip flops on.  This is what you come out with, your headband, glasses, watch, wallet and cell phone with a easy going..."Mom, I'm ready to go!" of course you are!  I love you Max!!

Dear Max,

Today is career day at pre-school.  You went as a dinosaur digger!  The cutest dinosaur digger I've ever seen!!!

On the way to school today you asked me what I do all day...so I decided to take a picture of me at work.  This is where I'm all all day...I think your environment looks a little more fun than mine!

Movies, Soccer and Birthday's...just a typical Saturday

Dear Max,

We work hard so we can play hard!  That is for sure...and by the end of the week...we are ready to PLAY!!!  Friday night we went to the drive-in movie.  Tova had never been to the drive in movie before.  She LOVED it.  We also took Natalie Bunker from down the street, it was her first time at the drive in too.  It's always so fun to take lot's of pillows and blankets.  Dad puts the air mattress in the back of the truck and we all pile in.  Great memories are being made every moment of our days.  

I don't know how you always wake up so cute!  But boy do you!!!  I could just eat this little face!!!  Saturday morning never looked so good!  We are off to soccer!!

 You're first day of indoor soccer...I hope you'll like it.  You are going with your friend Lili Hunter.  It's nice cause instead of playing games, they are just teaching you the skills of soccer.

Always soooo happy!  I love riding in the car with you and singing....you sure are a ham!!

On Sunday we celebrated Patti's birthday at the house with dinner, cake and ice cream!

Aunt Julie Visits

Dear Max,

Aunt Julie came down this weekend...and you know what that means....HAIRCUTS and LOTS OF FUN!!!  It's always nice when Aunt Julie comes to visit.  She brings laughter, good talks, wisdom, peace and joy into our home.  We are blessed to have her as our friend.  Oh...and she sure does love you!  You are still so amazing about getting your hair cut!
