"Black" Friday

Friday, November 28, 2009
Dear Max,
The day after Thanksgiving, is better known as "Black Friday" because lots and lots of people go shopping on this day. Max, it's crazy, people wake up in the middle of the night just to be the first one's at stores to get great deals on Christmas gifts. Good news for us is as long as we believe in Santa Clause he does all the toy making and we don't have to go and stand in those crazy lines in the middle of the night! So just keep believing in Santa. So while millions of nonbelievers were out shopping Friday morning, we were sleeping in and relaxing. We decided that it was a better idea to go swimming than to get in the shower and get ready for the day! So we enjoyed some time in the pool and hot tub!

You and Cousin Natalie...You two sure do like playing together.

Natalie has so much to say to you!

Got your suit on... you are ready to go!
Unfortunately not everyone was ready to go...but you make the best out of it...

By Playing Trucks. You LOVE to play trucks! You have the best truck noise too!

On the move!

I hope your getting all those passengers to their destination in safety!

Ready for some swimming at the pool!

Daniel hit a mile stone at the pool. He swam for the first time with out a floating just a life jacket!

He loved the new found swimming freedom!

Later that night we finally got ready for the day and went out to dinner at a Mexican restaurant and then to the temple to see the lights! We met up with our cousins (The Laub Family) and even got to see your new cousin Jaxon. You two are just a few months apart. Suzie and I enjoyed growing up together and we hope you and Jaxon do as well. It was so fun to meet up with them and visit. We love their family so much and are so glad we got to see them!

Our Family at the temple (minus daddy - he had to go back to work)

Grampie talking with Ruthella. Now - you might be confused looking at this picture, Grampie with a purple cane and a lovely scarf! Don't be confused, Grampie doesn't normally walk with a cane, however, he has a hurt knee so he was using what was handy, which is a cane that your daddy gave to Grammie when she retired from teaching school. And as you can see from Grampie's attire he was not exactly prepared to be out in the cold. Grammie felt bad so she loaned him her scarf!

  1. Oh...we sooo loved seeing you guys at the Temple that night. I wish we lived closer so that Max and Jaxon could have regular play dates. Maybe they will have to be Skype buddies! Oh how technology has improved from our days of snail mail! Love you guys!
